At this point, my ten year old just comes to me with tooth in hand and says something like ” I lost another tooth, can i just have a dollar now because you always forget if i put it under my pillow” i too am hoping our tooth fairy gets it together before the littles start loosing theirs. thanks for being so honest.

thanks so much for posting this!!!
it must be a “mom of many” thing.. i often fall asleep before executing this maternal duty…sometimes waking in the am in to raid my husband’s coin jar & slip something under their pillow as i’m waking them, or since they sometimes have “sleepovers” in siblings rooms (or dare i admit, my room)- claim that they have to sleep in their own beds for the fairy to find them!!!!
