Last May, I joined a group of freelance writers from our beloved writer’s group, Freelance Success, in a blogathon organized by Michelle Rafter over at WordCount. We called it “A Post a Day in the Month of May” and it helped all of us become better at posting regularly and generated more traffic for many of us as well.
Michelle decided to start this year’s blogathon again beginning today. A post a day can be challenging between busy weekends, trying to write for pay and grasping for ideas, so the blogathon is great discipline for all of us.

Hi Sarah, I’m Danielle Buffardi…one of the bloggers involved in the blogathon. I just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Looking forward to blogging with you.
Hi Sara: Fellow Blogathoner here. I have visited your site before, and love your concept. It is so helpful to parents to know that it all is on the job training.
My introductory post will go up later today, and I hope you’ll have a chance to see it.
Best wishes,
Vera
Hey Danielle,
Good to meet you and I’m looking forward to blogging with you as well!
Vera,
I’ll be sure to check out your introductory post. I love the look of your blog, especially the header. I also adore travel, though haven’t gotten to do much of it, so I’m excited to catch up, read and comment on your blog.
Happy blogging!
Hi, Sarah:
As the mom of two daughters–a tween and teen–ain’t it the truth that parenting IS all by trial and error. So glad to be a part of the Blog a thon!
Leah
Hey Leah,
So happy to see you here!
Yup, parenting is so experimental. I get tired of parenting “experts” who talk as if there’s only one way to do it, which is why I started this blog. If it were that formulaic, we wouldn’t need advice or support!
Looking forward to checking in on your blog as well!
Sarah
