Jennifer Fink over at Blogging ‘Bout Boys posted about the argument between her sons that led to one making a list of what he liked about the other. This got her thinking that she should also make one of what she likes about her kids, which in turn inspired me to come up with my own.
1. They make me laugh on a daily basis.
2. Re-experiencing things from my childhood with them, such as seeing the mountains or riding a bike with no training wheels for the first time, is incredibly fun.
3. They so often make me proud.
4. I can be a kid when I’m with them.
5. They give deep meaning to the concept of “alone time.” Mine, of course.
6. They’re loving, caring, thoughtful and generally polite.
7. They put up with my constant hugging, cuddling and kisses.
8. They remind me to appreciate the little things in life.
9. Their enthusiasm is contagious.
10. They make my life complete.
