First of all, I have to say “Happy Birthday” to my Cody, who turned 7 today.
Secondly, I have to say “Welcome to the world!” to my brand new nephew, Rhylan, who was born to my sister and her husband this morning, on Cody’s birthday.

The really odd thing about my son and nephew having the same birthday? My other son and my other nephew, Brendan, Rhylan’s big brother, also share the same birthday.

Guess we made life a whole lot easier for our mom — now she only has to remember two birthdays for all four of her grandsons!

My mom & brother share a birthday. Also, he was sort of interested in a girl many a moon ago who also shared her birthday with her mom — the same day as my mom’s & brother’s birthday. On the sheer weirdness of the coincidence of my brother, his wife, and both their mothers celebrating their birthday on the same day, I was pulling for them to get together.
I always thought it’d be so cool to have a baby on your birthday. It’s got to be the ultimate birthday present!
