As always, great advice for the growing parent. (Yes, we do as much growing as our children!)

Hope everything is going well and keep up the good work! Thanks for your insightful writing.

Love your blog, especially the name. I really don't follow anyone's blog, but I might check back on yours since I enjoyed myself so much. I am a mom of 4 and I am continually learning, STILL by trial and error!!!

I loved your post. You are so correct that parenting is trial and error. I have 4 little joys myself. I am always wondering if I am doing a good job especially since I did not have a good up bringing myself.

I will be back.

Hi there Parenting by Trial and Error,
Saw the swing picture and thought... you have to see my DVD... I'm the creator of a program that focuses on EQ/life skills for preschoolers... I film real kids...doing what kids do best... being kids, learning from trial and error... the kids teach the lessons... however - the main reason I'm writing is, that I also reconnect kids and parents with the wonder and awe within each day...like the shadows on the playground, the sound of tires over the hill... the kitten's step... filmed with real moments ... it's magical and teaches those lessons we all wish we had learned growing up.

www.ibelieveinme.tv

Please check it out...the sound on the website we're still working on - the DVD is clear... the musician for Animal Planet did all our music.. but check out, What is Fern Green, look for the swings!! blog section... again, it's on the DVD...
Keep on trying by trial and error... you're doing the right thing,
Sue Lee

Hi I just love your site. I found the reading interesting and the pics wonderful. I love large families. I only have the 3 due to problems 2 in heaven, and my mom only had us 4,but I come from a family where there were 11 kids and those kids had lots .
When we went to my great grandmothers for her birthday you had the 11 kids, spouses, grandkids and great grandkids. so you were looking at a couple of hundred people there and let me tell you, it was the most wonderful time of my life. Large families, who can beat em? Thanks for sharing your site, and writings.Hugs and God Bless
